How Zalgo glitch text works
Zalgo text stacks many combining diacritical marks (from U+0300 to U+036F) above, through and below each letter, so the marks spill out of the line. The three Zalgo styles here add progressively more marks. Heavier glitch text can overlap the messages above and below it, and some servers’ moderation bots or AutoMod rules filter it as spam, so the subtle level is the safest for everyday chat.
Upside-down and mirror text
Upside-down text reverses your message and swaps each letter for a lookalike that appears rotated, mostly from the phonetic alphabet (ɐ, ǝ, ɟ, ɥ, ɹ, ʇ, ʎ). A few letters have no good rotated match and stay as they are. Mirror text works the same way with left-right lookalikes. Emoji, flags and skin tones are kept intact when the text is reversed.
